We really do love clay and we want you to love it too!
This page is intended to give you more information about
what to expect from your time with clay in our studio.
Introductory Clay Class
*6 class meetings;
1)learn/make
2)trim/learn/make
3)trim/learn/make
4)trim/glaze
5)glaze
6)pick-up/celebrate/extra glaze day
*try throwing, slab work, extrusion, pinch/hand-building, trimming, glazing
*6:00-8:30pm work time and 8:30-8:45 clean up
*glaze and keep what you make, avg. 3-5 pieces
*feel free to organize a group to come together
*adult beverages are welcome
*this class is the prerequisite to work during open studio
*$200 including clay, glaze, 2 firings, use of studio, equipment and instruction
Open Studio
*attend as many sessions as you want
or need to complete your projects
*clay, glaze, 2 firings, use of studio and equipment
*prerequisite: intro class or recent clay experience
*assistance with "How do I" and "crap, now what do I do" issues. No instruction
*feel free to organize a group to come together
*adult beverages are welcome
**6:00-8:30pm work time and 8:30-8:45 clean up. OR
**2:30-5:00pm and 5:00-5:15 clean up
*$30/session, $100/4 session card
Adult & Child Play with Clay
*2 or more class meetings
* 1) make

* experiment, self-directed with guidance, bring ideas and we have some too
* 10-11:30am work time. 11:30-11:45 clean up
* glaze and keep what you make
* $50/2 class meetings including clay, glaze, 2 firings, use of studio/tools, and instruction and guidance.

Individual Lessons
*commit to 1 lesson at a time
*focus on skill of your choice
*convenient to your schedule
*ideal for anxious/unsure student
*seamlessly work into a group class when comfortable
*pick up bisque ware at a later date (if one lesson)
*arrange another lesson to glaze or attend a concurrent class session to glaze, pick up completed pieces at a later date.
